Welcome,
To the blog

Hey there! I'm Felicia! I'm a luxury wedding photographer, pet momma, wife, and cupcake addict.  I photograph in Arizona, Washington and Worldwide. I would love to chat and get to know you better!

April 22, 2019

Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.

Lindsay and Harrison’s Volunteer Park Engagement Session, Seattle, Washington

Lindsay and Harrison. I think the first picture sums these two up completely! Just laughing and following my crazy directions and having fun non stop.

I have to especially thank these two because the day of their engagement session I was having that kind of day where my brain was rebelling because my head was pounding so hard my brain probably thought it was being crushed. I had even stopped at a friend’s house in Seattle to try to sleep off my headache for a few minutes before meeting up for their engagement session. But these two and the perfection of the blooming flowers and trees and how much fun we had together totally cured me. I love that about creating art, that it really can heal you. But although my head had stopped trying to destroy me, my brain was slow to catch up. So although I totally knew Harrison was Harrison, and Lindsay was Lindsay, about 15 minutes into the session my brain decided Harrison was Andrew. And my brain would not be corrected. He was now The. Andrew. Basically, I probably have some weird form of name dyslexia, so if any neurologists out there need any test subjects call me.

But despite this, Harrison and Lindsay were gracious, laughed with me, and followed all my whacky suggestions. So I thank you both for your grace and humor during your session. I am so happy my couple from last year, Joe and Marissa, led you to me! It’s so amazing to be able to capture friends of my brides and grooms, and then see my past couples get to be guests now that they are old married people 😉

I can’t wait for your Crystal Lodge wedding this summer, and I know after talking about all the details with you both that it’s going to be an epic day to remember full of incredible bow ties and suspenders, a gorgeous couple (can’t wait to see that dress yaaassss!), and family and friends!

Enjoy the next few months because time flies!
