Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.
“I wish I had done everything on Earth with you.” The Great Gatsby
I think that quote speaks to me as I write this because when you are in love like these two, when every moment is made better because your other half is in it, you can’t help but to endlessly plan adventures that include them. Travel. Babies. Trying something new. Buying a house. Going to a new restaurant. None of these things seem as fun without the person your soul loves.
Tina and Jon are such an amazing couple. And every detail of their wedding day was perfect. From Tina’a rose gold jewelry, to her epic bouquet (even if it was 20 lbs.. worth it!), to Jon’s well tailored suit. And as I drove up the pathway to Villa Siena, I knew it was only going to get better. From the pictures you would actually think we were at a villa in Tuscany! The stone building, the gardens, the ceremony site with a gigantic fireplace adorned with flowers. It was the perfect place for them to exchange their vows.
And if you can’t tell, take a moment and scroll down and just look at the way they look at each other. They radiate love for one another. And I couldn’t have spent the day with two nicer people. It was like hanging out with old friends and I was so thankful to be there with them sharing in their special day.
But I have to add, that their party was eppiccc. Before dinner was even served the guests were engaged in a battle over who was ready to party and dance the hardest. I think it ended up being a tie between everyone because the dance floor was packed and everyone was having an amazing time.
I also feel like I should mention that on multiple ocassions people ended up in the air. Like when all of a sudden I looked over and Tina was on a chair in the air as they bounced her around the dance floor. Or when I looked over a second time and Jon was in the air, but sans chair, and the look on his face was pure excitement mixed with terror. LOL And as if I hadn’t learned my lesson to keep my eyes on the air at all time during the dance party… I looked back over and Tina’s dad was in the air! I will add that I happily stayed on the ground all night 😉
I hope you enjoy the pictures below as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Tina and Jon, you deserve all the best, and I can’t wait to watch you two grow over the rest of your lifetimes. Take lots of adventures together and never stop looking at each other like you did on your wedding day! <3 <3
