Welcome,

Hey there! I'm Felicia! I'm a luxury wedding photographer, pet momma, wife, and cupcake addict.  I photograph in Arizona, Washington and Worldwide. I would love to chat and get to know you better!

Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.

Emily and Trevor’s Wedding, Kent, Wa

These two radiate pure. joy.  I could seriously photograph them all day. In fact, I made sure it got really weird when I told Emily’s Dad that if Trevor hadn’t shown up today, I would have just married Emily. They are that adorable people.  And each picture is filled with laughter and happiness because they can’t help having fun together no matter what they’re doing.  Not to mention, Clark Lake Park in Kent, Washington, was the perfect location to capture them!

Emily and Trevor’s wedding day has been a long time in the making.  These two met during freshman high school! They started dating when they were 16 years old, and 4 years later, here they are!

There’s something about high school sweethearts that really speaks to my heart. I met my own husband when I was 24, so when I think back to what I was like at 16…. I was nothing like these two.  First of all, they are so much fun, but they are also wise and mature.  They have a strong faith in God, and in fact, they both interned at New Life Church in Kent, Wa, where they were wed. Trevor is set to become a youth pastor! They are kind and love fiercely.  You can tell this just from hanging out with them for a short while.  They are the kind of people you want to become your best friends because you know they’d be a blast at game night, and also have that one bible verse ready for you that speaks exactly to the situation you’re in.

Trevor proposed to Emily last fall in front of the Ferris wheel at the state fair.  There is nothing like a beautiful Ferris wheel lit up in all it’s glory!

Your 20s are so much fun, and when I think of the amazing times you guys are going to have experiencing that together as a married couple, I know you two will have the best times! So be sure to love a lot, adventure often, pick your battles.

After 6 years of marriage, I will give you the following advice:

  1. One of you is the messy one.  That one will leave their dirty clothes all over, and you will spend your life picking up after them.  There is no rehab or treatment for this condition based on my research. (This would be my husband)
  2. There is no right way to load a dishwasher!! As long you get the dishes into the dishwasher, this is a victory (that would be me..)
  3. Working full time is indeed exhausting, but take time to go on fun day trips together like getting up early to adventure in the Olympic Peninsula or learn Kite boarding on the Columbia river. These are the best times even if you need 3 cups of coffee to get up and do it.
  4. Laugh often. Give each other grace. And remember that during your 20s, you will grow and learn a lot, and you’ll both change.  Enjoy and encourage that change in each other and fall in love anew each day. (okay sorry that was like 5 in one).

When I walked outside to the reception, it was decorated beautifully! And of course, my eyes went straight to the cake. Because by now, you should all be familiar with my addiction to dessert. And we have to get decently close to things to photograph them, so as I captured the beauty of their wedding cake, I could tell it was a peanut butter cake *swoon*. And they had another thing that I really loved, they had snacks specifically for all the kids at their wedding which included cheese sticks, apple slices, and gummy bears.  Of course, these happen to be all my favorite things as well… #imakidatheart.

Everyone danced the night away, and I saw many hilarious examples of people attempting to floss. It was perfect.  And no wedding is complete without a sparkler sendoff!!

Trevor and Emily, enjoy your new journey together, and all the fun things you’ll discovery about each other as you grow in your marriage. I can’t wait to see all the things you two accomplish together!!

The majority of this wedding was DIY (I know can you believe it?!), but here are the vendors they did use:

Florist: Desiray O’Brien

Wedding dress: David’s Bridal

Makeup: Hannah Ashcraft

Hair: Amy Roldan

Wedding Cakes: Deru Market
