Kyle and Danielle are made for adventure. During our first conversation, Danielle made sure I was interested in hiking into a location for the shoot. And of course, I could not have been more interested! However, I have to admit when I received a text from Danielle telling me they found the location and it was the spot of an abandoned mental hospital in northern Washington, I was running through all the movies and books I had been through that started this way and ended with some kind of ghost attack.

Luckily, adventure calls to me just like it calls to this couple, so after Danielle showed me pictures from their recent hike to the crumbling hospital, I was sold. Because lush fields, old, abandoned architecture, and a gorgeous couple wins out every. time. Besides, I ain’t afraid of no ghosts. LOL sorry couldn’t resist…I set myself up for that one so good.

Danielle, Kyle, Kemp the German Shepard, Wishbone, the terrier, Kyle’s Mother, her adorable boxer, and myself, headed out to make magic.

This location was peaceful, beautiful, and full of all the things I die for as a photographer. So thank you Kyle and Danielle for always adventuring and making everyone around you better for it! I can’t wait to capture your wedding next year somewhere equally as adventurous and amazing!
