Summer came early to Seattle this year! So as Jacquelyn, Rick, and I headed to Gasworks Park located on Lake Union in Seattle, Wa, we were greeted by… every other person that lives in Seattle. There was a group of people doing complex yoga, playing soccer, flying kites, and just lounging with their inflatable chairs (yes I actually saw this- and I suppose it was more of a bean bag shape… and I want one lol).

As I spent most of my college days napping in the sun at Gasworks on the rare sunny day, I felt right at home.

With views of downtown Seattle, apartments along Montlake Cut, seaplanes and boats galore, and the unique architecture of the former oil refinery that was located at this park, it is a unique and interesting spot to capture. Everywhere we turned, there was something amazing I needed to capture!

Then we headed up to the Fremont Troll to recreate Jacquelyn and Rick’s first picture as a couple. And as they happened to be wearing Seahawks jerseys, they popped those on too.  As you can see, of course I made them do the 12th man sign.

These two photograph like a dream, so I was definitely in heaven. And I want to die my hair purple like Jacquelyn because uhm it’s gorgeous!
