This is one of those engagement sessions that I’ll never forget.  Mostly because it happened in the middle of a torrential downpour. Like the kind where I thought about building an arc just in case. And as I casually strolled through Lincoln Park’s waterfront in the middle of the rainstorm, there was actually a family out having a barbeque in one of the shelters, and they were handing out vodka to everyone passing by. Now that’s the Seattle I love LOL.

And in the middle of this ridiculous storm, Marissa and Joe showed up ready to take engagement pictures. So they took the cute umbrellas out to the beach and began posing. True adventurers! And poor Joe was soaking wet on his arm not covered by the umbrellas. But you know what? They never once complained! I was so impressed by them and their easy going spirit.

But after we all became soaked despite our best efforts to stay dry, we decided to head to a local coffee spot.  The people are Wildwood Market were so nice as they poured beers for Marissa and Joe, and allowed us to continue their session in their store.

This was definitely one for the books, and I think these two definitely deserve sunshine for their wedding day. They earned it!!
