Welcome,
To the blog

Hey there! I'm Felicia! I'm a luxury wedding photographer, pet momma, wife, and cupcake addict.  I photograph in Arizona, Washington and Worldwide. I would love to chat and get to know you better!

April 16, 2018

Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.

Melissa and Jason’s Superstition Manor Wedding, Mesa, Arizona

As Melissa’s Brother, Derek, and master officiant, gave his toast, he told the story of the first time he met Jason: “We went to the bar where he was manager and Melissa had told me she was kind of in to this guy that works here. And throughout the entire night Jason kept finding reasons to keep coming over to our table to talk to Melissa and they were sending each other the weirdest blurry snap chats all night, and I knew at that point, that she wasn’t just “kind of in” to this guy. That these two really liked each other.” And from there, their story grew.

Jason and Melissa crack me up so much because they can only be serious with each other for a few minutes. So as I pose them, Jason has to twerk a bit instead and Melissa has to make a funny face at Jason. And for that, I love these two. Honestly, I was laughing so hard all day. They joke, sass each other, give each other crap, love each other, dance, make funny faces, and enjoy their life together. Watching them, they are like 14 year old’s all over again basking in the glow of their love for each other. But at the same time, these two have a lot of responsibility as Jason stepped into the roll of step-father.

Seeing Jason and Melissa interact both as friends and as people with a deep love, and then watching them parent, is amazing to watch. Melissa’s daughter, Jocelyn, was the maid of honor, and Melissa’s son, Kaden, was the best man. Watching them interact with Jason was such a joy. I seriously got teary eyed as Jocelyn got choked up during her toast, and recalled how even though her and Jason can argue, Jason never breaks his promises to them. And she continued about how she works late often and Jason always waits up at night for her in order to make sure she arrives home safe. I just love that. Seriously.

Their wedding day was gorgeous with tiffany blue and lots and lots of bling! Superstition Manor is a beautiful estate with views of the Superstition Mountains.  The couple was surrounded by so much love, and I know that Jason, your dad was throwing a party in your honor that day and watching your marriage to Melissa with such pride for the amazing man you’ve become.

I’m so blessed to be a part of your lives and special day, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you two accomplish together.
