Welcome,

Hey there! I'm Felicia! I'm a luxury wedding photographer, pet momma, wife, and cupcake addict.  I photograph in Arizona, Washington and Worldwide. I would love to chat and get to know you better!

March 16, 2018

Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.

Monica and Justin’s Wedding, The McCormick Scottsdale, Scottsdale, Arizona

Justin and Monica’s love story is one of those that happened so specifically and uniquely that you know it was divine intervention. Monica is from the Philippines, but was living in the States at the time. She decided to travel to Hawaii to visit her friend. Well that friend happened to have a friend. Justin. But right after they met, Justin ended up getting stationed in the Philippines with the military while Monica remained in the States. They dated long distance until they were able to come together in Minnesota, Justin’s home state. With Justin’s military service and Monica being a doctor and all around gorgeous AND smart, they make a dynamic couple.

Their ceremony was at their home parish, St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, which was covered in beautiful stained glass. Both Monica’s parents walked her down the aisle to Justin, who was waiting with a look of excitement that was purely for Monica’s eyes.

When I arrived at the beginning of the day, music played in the hotel room as Monica and her bridesmaids practiced a dance. I got so excited, “Are you performing this dance at the wedding?!” They all played it cool and told me it was just for fun while getting ready.  Well they totally got me! Because as we walked into the reception, the first dance was Monica and her bridesmaids dancing for Justin. It was everything and I loved it!

The most amazing moment of the reception was when Monica’s friends from the Philippines who could not attend their wedding, recorded videos of their well wishes which included a slide show of their memories together. Monica’s pure joy and happiness as she watched was incredible.

And I have to say that Monica and Justin and the bridal party were troopers because it was the one day in Scottsdale when it was cold, windy, and of course, started raining freezing giant raindrops right during the middle of portraits. But they braved the cold and the portraits on the dock are some of my favorites!

Monica and Justin had such a wonderful group of family and friends to celebrate them. I love the way that although Justin may be more quiet then Monica, he absolutely lights up when he interacts with her. I know that Monica and Justin truly complete each other, and I am so excited for you both!!
