Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.
It’s cherry blossom season in Seattle! Which is basically a state wide recognized holiday in and of itself. So of course we had to start our engagement session out at Volunteer Park in Seattle, Washington, with those gorgeous blooms. And Andrea and Lake were dressed to kill as I led them all around the park. Wonderfully, Volunteer Park has no shortage of amazing prehistoric looking trees (which I am obsessed with-especially having lived in Arizona most recently). But as a native Seattle-ite, I’m happy to be back in my old stomping grounds!
Next, we headed to the Inn at the Market in Pikes Place where Andrea and Lake were staying for the night. If you have not checked out this hotel, you must! It is right in the heart of everything, and they have an amazing roof top deck with unobstructed views of the city, the waterfront, and Pikes Place Market. So of course we had to take some shots up there!
And as the night and the fun rolled on, this lovely couple wanted to explore Post Alley dressed entirely as themselves. This is exactly why I encourage all my couples to do two outfits: so you can do one entirely glam, fabulous outfit, and one outfit that is entirely you two.
Between Lake’s comments keeping Andrea laughing the entire session, this couple has two secret nicknames for each other, which they wrote on each other’s hands for the final shot of the session. But it’s a secret! So I can’t show you, or I’d have to kill you 😉
I cannot wait for your Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, wedding this fall!! It’s going to be everyyythinggg.
