Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.
As I drove down the palm tree lined path to Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, Arizona, I knew it was going to be the perfect day. Window down, breeze rolling through, and only 70 degrees. The perfection of which only Arizona gets in November.
Wedgewood Ocotillo is such a gorgeous place for a wedding. It has open green lawns bordered by flowers for the ceremony and beautiful brick buildings as the backdrop. But none of this compared to Mary’s gorgeous long sleeve lace gown! By the way, I am officially obsessed with long sleeve lace gowns now. They are everything!
As Steven waited expectantly for Mary during their first look, she tapped him on the shoulder and gave him a hug. When Steven turned around, Mary already had tears in her eyes and her joyful emotion at seeing her groom was so beautiful to witness. I love moments like these!
I had so much fun watching Mary and Steven’s personalities come to life during their wedding day. Their senses of humor with each other, fun loving personalities, and emotion at marrying their best friend was amazing to be a part of. These two have been dating for three years as of the wedding, but met many years ago at a friend’s get together. You can tell they have a strong foundation in friendship.
Nearly a year ago, Steven proposed to Mary in the woods in Flagstaff, knowing he wanted Mary by his side forever.
I loved our portrait session, as somehow I ended up at the wheel of a golf cart 😉 and got to whisk us around to different gorgeous locations around the golf course. And don’t worry, the couple survived without harm! I’m pretty sure they did anyway.. LOL
Watching them dance the night away, play the most stressful games of giant jenga I’ve ever witnessed, and enjoy all the friends and family that came to celebrate their unique love reminds me why I love being a wedding photographer. Thank you for choosing me to capture your day! I can’t wait to see where life’s journey takes you both.
