Welcome,
To the blog

Hey there! I'm Felicia! I'm a luxury wedding photographer, pet momma, wife, and cupcake addict.  I photograph in Arizona, Washington and Worldwide. I would love to chat and get to know you better!

Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.

Liz and Tyler’s Point Defiance Park Anniversary Session, Tacoma, Washington

Liz and Tyler flew to a Seattle for a mini vacation so that they could… wait for it… a marathon! I was hoping their athleticism and running skills would rub off on me. I’ll let you know if that happens LOL But it was the perfect summer Seattle weekend to run through the foothills of the Cascades.

This session was especially fun because Liz is a photographer! Having a photographer trust you to capture her session is of course, no pressure at all..! And besides that, it’s always an honor when another photographer likes your work and wants you to capture their love! So thank you Liz and Tyler, for giving me the opportunity!

Meeting these two is just proof of how small the world actually is because they actually had just moved from San Antonio where Tyler was in the Air Force (where my family also lives as my brother in law is in the Air Force). Currently, they’ve been living in Phoenix for the last year not too far from where I just moved from! In this life, worlds still have a way of colliding in the best possible way. (You can go ahead and insert a deep and meaningful quote about how we are all neighbors and connected in some way; I bet Ernest Hemingway had something perfect to say about this subject).

We spent Sunday night in the forest surrounded by prehistoric looking trees and then ventured to the beach, which was packed with every person in the city tying to swim in the mostly frigid water.  So during this session they received a real inside view of how us Seattle-ites live when the sun is out.  (They also had an opportunity to find out just how cold the Puget Sound is… don’t miss it below 😉

I hope you will both come back and visit the magical PNW someday! But until then, thanks for making some amazing memories with me and allowing me to adventure with you!
