Hi and welcome to my online home! I am a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Jon, and we have 7 fur babies: Kitty Amazing, Baby Kitty, Petunia, and China, our cats, Hank and Seymour, our dogs, and Junichiro, our hedgehog. Admittedly, Junichiro is more of a spiky baby than a fur baby. I love travel, nutella, donuts, cupcakes, (okay just bring me all the carbs alright?), reading, green tea, soccer, dancing, and soft pillow cases. I love having you, I hope you stay awhile.
Christine and Nick are two of the greatest people ever. I absolutely adore them and their love for each other.
Their love story started 7 years ago, when Christine was 21 and Nick was 25. They met at a party at Nick’s house, when they were living nearby each other in West Seattle. Since then, their love for one another has grown in a way that neither one of them expected back at that first meeting years ago.
Christine is passionate, empathetic, and she pours herself entirely into her friends and family. Although she juggles nursing school, work, and her relationship, she drops everything when someone is in need. Nick is funny, kind, supportive, and always has time to help those around him (including when his friend was learning to snowboard for the first time and everyone else ditched him on the bunny slopes!). And in my opinion, you can always tell how amazing a man is by how much he loves his cat- which Nick does. Together these two make a dynamic duo.
Nick had the ultimate proposal for Christine while they were on a Caribbean cruise. They were having a beach day in Jamaica and went to get a couples massage in a little tent overlooking the water. Christine had her head through the face hole and the masseuse told her that she had something to read. Nick had written out their love story on hand made cards for her to read and then after she finished reading, he proposed to her.
Their love story came to its perfect next step on their wedding day at Ritter Farms in Cle Ellum, Washington. It was a gorgeous farm with red barn, tiny houses for getting ready, and much to my excitement, many animals. The farm came equipped with it’s own petting zoo for all the guests as the owner has three horses, two mini ponies, chickens, and a cat (who made himself an extra bridesmaid as you’ll see below)! I was in heaven!
The first look was my absolute favorite. Christine was so excited and emotional over seeing Nick. And Nick was just as emotional. These two and their love for each other!! I held Christine’s hand as we walked over to Nick. When she was ready, she held him from behind for a while as tears slid down her cheek. Guys, I’m tearing up all over again! It was beautiful and perfect.
Their ceremony took place on an island surrounded by a creek and a huge willow tree. It was the most gorgeous ceremony spot. I was dyingggggg.
During the reception, each member of the bridal party made a toast to the happy couple. Each included a story about the couple’s selflessness, their joy and passion, and how they bring out the absolute best in each other. Their friends and family love them so much. And I had the best time talking to them all throughout the evening.
Cheers to you both! I am so happy I got to know you and you trusted me with capturing your perfect day. Remember and cherish every moment!!
